I took the long way into medicine. Whilst having achieved an offer for school-leaver medicine, I unfortunately didn't quite get the A-level grades needed. I went on to study a BSc (Hons) in Applied Medical Sciences at Swansea University and eventually applied for 2025 graduate-entry medicine (GEM). I achieved multiple offers from top GEM programmes with vastly differing interview styles, putting me in a unique position to help you achieve your goals.
Growing up in rural Dorset, I decided to pursue medicine during my undergraduate degree. Although I didn't have much prior experience, I took the initiative to seek out volunteering roles to confirm it was the right path for me and to build a well-rounded understanding of the profession. I also performed strongly at interview and sat both the GAMSAT and UCAT, scoring 84 in Section 3 of the GAMSAT - placing in the top 2% globally.
